We’ll be taking part in a week long mini tour/minotaur of Southend from Saturday 12th of December, playing gigs in a number of unconventional locations such as the world famous Southend Pier, as well as (apparently) a local Chinese restaurant/fish & chip shop. Imagine all the people innocently expecting a nice meal out and then Bham! They get a helping of Rohan By Nightfall instead of battered sausage /crispy duck.

The Saturday sees us frog marching down Southend High Street and heckling bystanders in the name of promotion, before going on local radio around 6pm. Sunday is the aforementioned gig-on-a-pier, and Monday is the gastronomusical extravaganza/disaster, depending on your view point. Tuesday night we’ll be taking to the stage at Chinnery’s in support of Irish punk quartet Home Star Runner. Currently touring the country, these guys have shared the stage with the likes of Paramore, Fall Out Boy, Metro Station, You Me at Six, and New Found Glory – not one to be missed. Thursday we head down for a gig at Bar Lambs in Leigh on Sea, before heading off to Talk Nightclub around 11pm for the grand unveiling of the excellent dance remix of Vitamin C, put together by Sam from Pro Rata who’ll be joining us on the minotaur; be interesting to see how it goes down. Finally, on Friday night, we’ll be playing a gig down at Las Vegas arcade on the sea front. I envisage a lot of energy going into making sure scamps dont disappear with all our stuff, but it promises to be interesting at the very least. After that, and it’s off to Storm Nightclub for another airing of Vit C.

Hopefully we’ll see a dedicated army of fans supporting us at some of these events – we’ll post more details as they arrive. If the music alone isn’t enough to entice you, there’ll also be free sticks of rock being passed around that were painstakingly labeled up by guys from the band in what I suspect was an outsourcing operation from India. Nice one guys.
